Maintenance: Switch Maintenance

We will be performing some necessary maintenance which will affect some server services. This will last about 119 minutes, and during this time, the server in the affected switch will lose network connectivity while the switch is rebooted.

This will occur between: 22:00 and 23:59 on 17/03/2025

Maintenance: DC2 VCD RES ESXi hosts upgrade

What will happen?
For each ESXi host in the cluster, iomart will migrate the virtual servers off the host to one of the other hosts in the cluster and will then place the host into maintenance mode and carry out the upgrade. There is sufficient capacity on the other hosts to run the virtual servers while one ESXi host is in maintenance mode.

When will the work be carried out?
The maintenance work carried out will commence at 0900hrs GMT on Wednesday, 5th March 2025 and last until 1700hrs GMT on the Friday, 7th March 2025.

Will I experience downtime?
During the maintenance window there will be no impact to the virtual servers that are running in this environment, as the virtual servers can be migrated from host to host without impact.
